OMG! I am so in love with home made almond milk. A friend let me try her almond milk one day and I was immediately in love! The taste is impeccable! Below is how she made it!
Soak 2 cups of raw (preferably organic) almonds in water overnight!
The next day drain the almonds and add to a Vitamix or blender. Then add 5 cups of water! Blend for a few minutes, until almonds are broken down. Then pour milk in a nut milk bag and drain out almond pulp. Just keep squeezing the milk out of the bag into a bowl or pitcher. Chill in the refrigerator, you will never buy store bought almond milk again!
